Hello folks!

Welcome to my little world based on common sense, humor and sarcasm. I try to find humor in everything to help myself and others get through the day and it has served me well over my nearly 60 years, so I’ll keep being me. I’m loved and respected by many, hated and shaded by others. You can’t make everyone happy and trying to do so will only make you miserable.

I’m no political or social expert by any means whatsoever, but I am a very intelligent person who views the world using common sense and the history I have witnessed myself. Born in 1967, I am an old Gen X with a splash of Boomer which makes for an interesting “get off my lawn” FAFO combination. I say it how it is and if the shoe fits and hurts your feelings, so be it. I don’t intentionally try to hurt feelings, so you may want to ask why it hurt your feelings.

I’m non-partisan by nature and wish we could return to a time of “agreeing to disagree” instead of this ridiculous state we are in. Thankfully, I feel we are on the path to healing as a country and society. I do support Trump, his teams and what Republicans I feel are serving the people as they have been elected to do. My support is performance based, as everyone’s support of an official or party should be. Blindly following and supporting without questions, is a primary reason we are in the state we are currently in.

I stopped taking the Democratic party and it’s candidates seriously once Obama was elected, even after voting for him his first term. I realized during his address to Congress that it was a mistake and began paying attention to politics for the first time in my life. In my opinion, that is when the far left Liberals, backed by the Deep State, hijacked the Democratic party and began their extreme agendas. Obama said his goal was to transform America, which he did with the help of the many who had been hiding in the shadows for years.

While I feel his presidency was the beginning of our recent decline, I am also thankful for what he did as well. If the far left had not become so openly brazen with their hate and totalitarian desire, we would continued to let things slowly fall apart. Since they chose extremism, we discovered who they are and what they truly stand for. They woke the bear, who stood up and said “enough is enough”, which is what led to Trump’s first term.

I’m thankful that we are currently exposing the truth and those responsible and hope that in the near future, we can have a system that works for all. Until then, I will likely support the Republicans, but look forward to a day when there are other candidates and ideas to consider. As I said earlier, I am a logical non-partisan citizen who wants solid options to choose from, as I believe we all should.

I’m always open to discussion whether we agree completely or not and have had some great discussions with others who share different viewpoints. Note the word “discussions” meaning we talked rationally and respectfully to each other even about topics we viewed completely differently. I promote only respectful interactions and will not allow any disrespect in any comment thread regardless of which side of a subject you are on. Lack of respect toward each other has only produced an environment where no one can talk to each other any more.
